Topic Three: Money and Culture

Possible subtopics include virtual economics; in-game product placement; viral marketing; replicas, theme parks, merchandise, and other instances of the virtual in the real; direct downloadable content; console wars and the future of the commercial industry; independent game creation; the mainstreaming of gamer culture; professional gaming; and anything else you can think of :)
